The default keyboard shortcut for switching between the windows of an application is cmd-`. On a US keyboard this is fine, but on International English and other non-US keyboards it’s not optimal. But it’s easy to change this shortcut. For International English keyboards you need to change the shortcut to cmd-§ and for a German keyboard it’s cmd-^.
To change the default keyboard shortcut for switching application windows, go to System Preferences->Keyboard->Keyboard Shortcuts and select Keyboard & Text Input from the list on the left. Then double-click the shortcut next to Move focus to next window in application and press the new shortcut.
