The easiest way to use dashkards is by downloading and installing the dashkards widget. The widget installs into Mac OS X's Dashboard and gives you instant access to all dashkards you can see here on the website. New dashkards get automatically added to the widget and updates to existing dashkards also show up in the widget automatically.

To immediately start using dashkards simply follow these instructions:

1. Download the widget.
2. Double-click the downloaded file (depending on your browser's configuration, this may happen automatically) to unzip the .zip archive.
3. Double-click the dashkards widget file.
4. Confirm the widget installation by clicking the Install button in the confirmation dialog.

Don't want to use the dashkards widget and prefer things the old way?

If, for whatever reason, you'd prefer to use dashkards the old way (i.e. as WebClips), please refer to the old help page. Please note, though, that there is no real fix for the empty / broken WebClips problem, just a temporary workaround. The problem also persists in the upcoming next incarnation of Mac OS X, 10.7 Lion.
